Business Development Manager - Security

Due to our sustained growth within the Australian Market we are now looking for a motivated Business Development Manager with well-developed technical knowledge to join our innovative security team. The role is based in Melbourne and reports directly to the Sales Manager in the Region.
The key focus of this role is to support and develop the business networks and working relationships in the Victorian and Tasmanian regions with channel partners, consultants and end user customers which will result in an increased market share. You will be part of a team that works together across all facets of the Security business including Access Control and Perimeter Solutions. This role also includes aspects of Technical Account Management and will be required to provide; training and development to skilled technicians and technical presentations/demonstrations to consultants and potential customers. An understanding of the Australian High Security Type 1A market and any clearances for this roll would be an advantage along with a current Victoria security license.
The successful candidate will have proven success in business development and technical roles and be able to substantiate his/her approach to identifying, generating and developing new business opportunities and channels to market. To be successful in the role you will need to be an excellent communicator, with the ability to work remotely. You will be known for possessing high standards of integrity and exemplifying best practice, with a“can do” attitude. Previous knowledge and experience of working with Gallagher Security and good system knowledge will be an advantage.
