Graphic Designer

It’s an exciting time to join Gallagher - our Security business unit is going through unprecedented growth and we need an extraordinary Graphic Designer to continue our journey in bringing our unique Orange DNA to life.

Gallagher is one of New Zealand's largest, privately owned businesses. The company has operations in New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa, USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and exports to over 130 countries. Our culture is entrepreneurial in spirit, complex, challenging and ever changing and the business offers New Zealand based candidates unrivalled globally focused career paths.

As a key brand champion, you’ll be tasked with the end-to-end execution of artwork requirements – whether that be through print or digital media – and you’ll be comfortable refining and developing those concepts so that we can communicate our brand value in the most effective way possible to customers and business partners.

Working at Gallagher alongside our marketing and communications team members, your day will be extremely varied.  Your morning might see you developing the layout of a case study to explain how the Gallagher solution is delivering true business value for a customer somewhere in North America.  By midday, you could be working with the wider marketing team on artwork for a trade show in Australia and considering the best approach to truly connect with customers.  And the afternoon might see you editing photographs and video footage that were taken in Hong Kong - with the last task of the day seeing you use your creative brain to simplify a sketch to communicate our product’s unique architecture.

To be successful in this role, it’s important that you have a tertiary qualification in graphic design or a related field. Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and a methodical approach to work, as well as a strong attention to detail will give you an edge over others. You will be familiar with project management tools to truly manage your time in this fast-paced role.

If this sounds like you, apply by Sunday 17 November 2019. We’d love to hear from you and look forward to receiving your application for this exciting role.
