Group Financial Accountant

Gallagher’s Finance team has a rare opportunity for an experienced Group Financial Accountant with a passion for making areal difference to the business.  You will help the business continue to grow and add to its successful 80+ year legacy in a great supportive team.

You will be responsible for providing financial support across the business, including our international subsidiaries. Day to day responsibilities will be financial reporting and analysis, month-end closing, reconciliations and analysis, providing financial advice, preparing and analysing financial statements. Additional tasks will involve overseeing the group’s cashflow, budgeting and forecasting, administrating financial platforms, fulfilling statutory reporting obligations and various ad hoc projects. 

What will the ideal candidate have?

  • CA (or equivalent) qualifications with 3-5 years post-graduation experience.
  • Advanced excel skills with solid understanding of month end / year end processes and annual budgeting
  • Experience supporting internal and external stakeholders with financial queries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive persona, fun loving and great sense of humour

Previous SAP experience would be an advantage, or other major ERP system experience is desirable.
