The Opportunity

Join us as a Maintenance Engineer and play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations!  You'll ensure our equipment and infrastructure run smoothly, keeping production on track and exceeding customer expectations. Work hand-in-hand with our manufacturing teams to meet production schedules and deliver on time. 

Our large manufacturing site demands diverse maintenance skills, including electronics, so an NZ registered electrical practicing license is essential for this role.

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Attend to breakdowns and be available for call outs
• Identify machine faults and condition and make improvements to optimize performance
• Gather quotes and raise purchase orders for mechanical work
• Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, lead by example to ensure high-quality outcomes
  

The Fit

You'll be a forward thinker with excellent planning and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and effective time management skills.  A true problem solver with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  To succeed at this role you’ll also need:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering/Maintenance or a related field
• A current NZ Electrical Practicing License (EST)
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a trade qualified engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient numeracy and technology skills
