Marketing Specialist - Campaigns

About Gallagher

Our purpose at Gallagher is ‘Protect what matters most’ and we live it every day. Not only does our technology protect some of the world’s highest security environments and agriculture businesses in over 160 countries, but our purpose also means we care deeply about our people and their families.

We’ve been in business since 1938, and our high-tech animal management solutions are now sought after around the world.  Within our Animal Management business, we’re passionate about putting our technology to work to make farm life easier and more profitable for our customers, ensuring a positive impact on environmental and animal welfare issues.

The Opportunity

Our Animal Management Marketing team is looking for a talented Campaigns Specialist to coordinate our marketing and product campaigns across Australia.  Reporting to our Australian Marketing Lead and working closely with our global team based in New Zealand, you’ll ensure our marketing activity is executed in line with our regional marketing strategy as well as our global approach.  In this busy role, you’ll be coordinating campaign implementation and monitoring, with a focus on seamless integration with sales and advertising initiatives.  You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Optimising campaigns for maximum reach, engagement and return on investment.
  • Managing promotional activities and driving co-promotional partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Oversee the development of our social media presence in Australia.
  • Manage marketing technology platforms such as the Gallagher AM website, Digital Asset Management, Content Management System, CRM, eCommerce, Marketing Automation and Project Management tools.

The Fit

This role will suit either a Campaigns Specialist or an experienced Marketing Coordinator who’s looking for that next step up in their career.  You don’t need to have a background in Agriculture or AgTech, however an interest or some knowledge of the industry would be beneficial.  Either way, you’ll thrive on executing compelling marketing campaigns, ensuring they deliver personalised, omnichannel customer experiences.  You’ll have a strong understanding of digital marketing (paid, earned, owned) and be a skilled copywriter with the ability to translate and simplify technical product information into customer speak.  To succeed in this role you’ll also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a Marketing Coordinator or Campaigns Specialist role.
  • Strong digital marketing experience with proficiency in marketing technology platforms and an understanding of current marketing technology trends and best practices.
  • Experience building or coordinating brand-aligned content, ideally with an “eye for design” and skills in Indesign or Canva.
  • Experience and skills in developing long and short-form copy with some exposure to social media management.
  • The ability to work autonomously, while also being able to leverage the support of national and global marketing teams.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks and maintaining a detail-oriented approach.
