The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to help drive Gallagher Animal Management’s marketing success across New Zealand. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and executing our regional marketing strategy — leading integrated campaigns, creating compelling content, supporting retail excellence, and bringing our sponsorships and events to life.

Working closely with sales teams, channel partners, and external agencies, you’ll ensure that every marketing activity aligns with our business goals and strengthens Gallagher’s brand position. From optimising digital campaigns to enhancing in-store merchandising, your creativity and data-driven approach will help us connect with our customers and deliver real commercial impact.

 

The Fit
We’re looking for someone who’s a strategic thinker and just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get stuck into the details.

While this is a specialist role, you’ll need to have senior-level generalist marketing expertise to drive innovation, enhance our marketing approach and evolve how we work.

You’ll also bring:

  • At least 7 years’ experience in marketing or a related role.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Communications, Marketing, PR or similar)
  • Strong project management skills — able to juggle multiple campaigns while keeping an eye on the big picture.
  • Proven experience delivering successful integrated campaigns across digital, social, retail, and events.
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable diving into data to assess performance and inform future strategy.
  • Top-notch communication and content creation skills.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with great stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for the agriculture sector would be a bonus.
