Senior Software Engineer

Join us and be a part of this exciting journey as we start our search for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Research & Development team. You will be part of a small agile team and be responsible for designing, implementing and operating Gallagher’s test automation toolchain. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do with a strong focus on quality and delivery. You need to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change frequently. You will have excellent problem-solving skills enabling you to identify and resolve issues as they arise.

You need to have a tertiary degree with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within the industry. You will also need to be able to demonstrate concise written and verbal skills in English.

The primary technologies you will use in this role include:

  •  Ruby, C#
  •  MySQL
  •  Web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  •  Virtual infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines

Technical skills in the areas of Web Services, Interfaces and Security are highly desirable.
