The Opportunity

Our award-winning security business is on the hunt for an experienced state manager to drive the implementation of business development growth strategies across the New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory regions.  In this newly created role, you’ll be tasked with ensuring Gallagher Security offers a consistent approach to market to expand our partner network, scale people resources, and deliver better outcomes for our valued clients. This approach will increase Gallagher market share, improve profitability and assist Gallagher to raise-the-bar as the best supplier in the industry.

Working closely with the National Sales Manager and existing teams in NSW and ACT, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing business in order to co-design and deliver a unified growth strategy.  Equal to the importance of growing the business in this region, is the ongoing maintenance of an engaged, supported, and high-performing regional team.


The Fit

This is a rare chance to drive the growth of our business and help deliver world-class security systems across the NSW and ACT region.  You’ll have knowledge of security solutions, with proven experience in creating and executing successful business strategy. This position requires strong leadership qualities, but also tact in what is sometimes a high-pressure environment.  To succeed in this role you’ll also need:

  • 5+ years leading high-performing teams.
  • 5+ years’ business development/sales experience particularly in a B2B technology or security systems environment.
  • Experience in creating and executing successful business strategy and plans.
  • Major client and account relationship management experience.
  • Experience in managing channel partner relationships.
  • Market development experience – geographic or vertical.
  • Experience in developing business growth strategies and appropriately pitched communications.
  • To hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current security license and clearance.
