The Opportunity

Join #TeamGallagher as a Warehouse Assistant and play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and exceptional customer service. You'll be part of a high-performing team responsible for handling incoming stock, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring timely dispatch of customer orders across the UK and Europe. In this role, you’ll be:

  • Processing incoming stock and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Picking, scanning, and packing customer orders to meet delivery expectations.
  • Booking couriers and preparing export documentation for international shipments, requiring prior export experience.
  • Assisting in the preparation of pre-insulated post services for Perimeter customers.
  • Operating a forklift to support order dispatch and warehouse logistics.
  • Promoting a safe, tidy, and efficient warehouse environment while following ISO and Lean Warehouse Management processes.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement activities to optimise warehouse efficiency and customer service.

 

The Fit

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team player with a strong background in warehouse operations. You’ll bring a commitment to efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring that our customers receive the right products on time, every time.

What you’ll bring: 

  • At least 3 years of experience in a UK/EU warehouse environment, ideally within a similar-sized organisation and with export experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP is desirable; strong computer literacy and documentation accuracy are essential.
  • A valid Forklift/Counterbalance License, essential for supporting warehouse logistics and order dispatch.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.
  • Structured and well-organised, with strong time management skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and refining warehouse processes.
