The Product

The eShepherd^TM solution has IoT ‘wearable tech’ on animals sending position and health telemetry to the cloud. But the game-changer is the invisible / virtual fences that keep the livestock contained! Farmers can use beautiful apps with maps to automatically move and contain animals and automate advanced grazing techniques. Our technology provides real-time visibility of livestock, improving animal health outcomes, increasing productivity and profitability, and offering a cost-effective solution for environmental compliance and sustainable practices.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the Forest Hill office. You’ll be a key contributor to both the design, development and support of the platform and apps. This role offers a dynamic mix of creating new features (massive Backlog) and ensuring the platform operates efficiently and reliably.

The Essentials

• Building modern and responsive Web Apps in Angular 17+ (PrimeNg, RxJS, Redux, NgXS, SASS)
• Building RESTful APIs in Java 21+ (Spring, JSON, Swagger, Postman)
• AWS cloud and containerization (ECS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, Docker)
• Production databases (Spring JPA, MySQL, Hibernate, Liquibase)
• CI/CD processes (Gradle, Jenkins)
• Code quality static analysis tools (Sonarqube)
• Automated testing (Mockito, Cucumber, BDD, TDD, Jasmine, Karma)
• Version control (git) and feature branch workflow
• Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and Agile methodologies
