The Opportunity 

We are looking for a Technician to join the Farmote Systems project team. This role is key in supporting sensor functionality and maintaining field operations to ensure high-quality data collection. As a Technician, you'll play an essential part in driving project success through your technical expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with various teams.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 20 hours per week at our Hamilton site.

The Fit 

We’re seeking a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in dynamic environments. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Basic technical skills and the ability to follow calibration and troubleshooting procedures
• Strong organizational abilities, especially in inventory management
• A willingness to work outdoors and travel to farm sites in various weather conditions
• Previous experience in agriculture, environmental sciences, or sensor technologies is an advantage, but not required

You’ll also bring:

• Good communication skills to document processes clearly
• Problem-solving capabilities to address field issues promptly
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
